In 2024, an independent scientific study examining the effectiveness of GUAM seaweed masks was published in the medical journal Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Sixty women took part in the study. After a 4-week course of using GUAM seaweed masks, the following results were recorded: 
• Average reduction in hip circumference – 2.74 cm, 
• Average reduction in waist circumference – 2.11 cm, 
• Improvement in skin structure due to stimulation of collagen synthesis.
