Astaxanthin is a natural carotenoid (pigment) produced under specific conditions by the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. Its antioxidant capacity is up to 6,000 times stronger than vitamin C, 790 times stronger than CoQ10, and 110 times stronger than vitamin E. It is widely used as a rejuvenating ingredient with broad-spectrum benefits.
